Wine Tasting- Spring Fundraiser

For our 2008 Spring Fundraiser, we had a wine tasting event at a member's home.  All the money raised at this event went to support the American Cancer Society "Relay for Life" in honor of a fellow member.  Members will also attend the Relay for Life event on June 13.

Adopt a family - winter fundraiser

Our December 2007 party was a great kickoff to the holiday season! Thanks to everyone who brought clothing, shoes, toys, or gift cards for our adopted families this Christmas! Our families are connected through an organization called Fellowship Housing Corporation, located in Hoffman Estates. Their mission is "to partner with local churches and communities to transform the lives of homeless or at-risk single moms and their children by providing housing and holistic mentoring to guide them from crisis to long-term stability and independence. PHD charity - spring fundraiser

Thanks to everyone who helped with the 2006 spring luncheon.  We had a wonderful turnout and an abundance of donations for the PHD charity.   This non-profit organization is dedicated to providing professional counseling, education and support services to anyone facing issues relating to pregnancy and its challenge.  For more info on this charity, please visit www.sphd.org.
